On the 14th, a hardcore family get-together Pirate style took place in Hamburg by the Elbe Auen. Pirates swarmed there from the whole republic and even from far away Toulouse… and Cape Town to take part in the excellent festivities.

First, an elite group met at 1pm for a relaxed tour through the Hamburg Rockies, while some other specialists were still looking for a hotel room in Hamburg or were stuck in the Elb tunnel....

At this point, Andrè (left) from Hannover said no one would believe that you could get that exhausted riding through the flat country of northern Germany.... :) (He had ridden 39370 vertical ft/12000hm at Lake Garda a week earlier.)

Rainer the Survivor (from Dötlingen).... Pretty courageous of him to be flashing the V for victory this early on!?!

However, we didn't leave anyone behind, not even BSN photographer Rolf, who had to be reported missing for a time.

Afterwards, we made our way to the pool party in Hamburg Bahrenfeld.We had only our well trained lifeguard and Baywatch employee David Stedehoff (from Plettenberg) to thank that nothing worse happened....

...because scary shapes… monsters… mutations are lurking in the depths of the pool…

...and they wanted to steal our biggest, dearest treasures....

.....typical, the crew (Sauerland faction) watched the proceedings from the bench and gave out points for performance.

After that we were off to the party location "Faint" at the Hamburg fish market, which we can warmly recommend for parties of all kinds!

Following a brief warm up, we went right on to the hardcore…

The sushi cooks that we had flown in had their hands full trying to stuff our hungry faces (by the way, it was really delicious!! Thanks again!!).If you need something to be catered, a sushi making course or Japanese sushi hardware, you should check out Sakai-Shoten in Hamburg at the Grindel!

Given the humane prices of the drinks, the corresponding level of drunkenness was quickly reached.

The various crews had brought gifts from their many looting parties… thanks again to ALL!!

at some point it got REALLY nice and loud, when the Hamburg band "Delirious Frequency", destroyed a few people's auditory canals… (samples in the net)

actually we thought that Marco was innately cool… but here you can see that he really needed to refuel his coolness tank....

once again Jürgen and Ron were caught red handed....

...which doesn't mean that the whole night was a bust just because we made asses out of
ourselves :)

...they hopped out of their bunks refreshed accordingly the next day, in order to....

go to breakfast in Kaltehofe (Hamburg-Rothenburgsort).You can have a nice brunch on a little wharf in the "Skipper" with your friends here.

Of course, the sale of electric blankets and plastic eating utensils, which can't be forgotten on any raiding party, followed at the comfortable premises of the Pirate headquarters.

All in all, it was a totally chill event that should be repeated!This shouldn't take too long, since we have something to celebrate next year!!!
