we decided to report back with a few pics of us in training.
The last practice before the league took place on Saturday May 7th, everyone was looking forward to an awesome day with sunshine and outdoor paintball on the Red Baron Field in Griesheim/Darmstadt.

Unfortunately, rain thwarted all of our plans for outside and we were forced to migrate to the Paintballparadise/Babenhausen, which is in a gym.
After losing a few of the old crowd and being joined by some fresh meat, the team had to spend some time getting adjusted to each other. The new guys did a great job and really are an asset to the team.

It was a pretty typical practice, we bombarded each other and other guys from other teams with paint and made a huge mess. (Once again Steffen was to fast for the digital camera.)

The day's highlight was the 7 player game, since the area is bordered by walls and designed for 5 players, the gym was totally packed with paintball players. The lack of room and low number of objects for cover made the whole game extremely nerve racking and a shitload of fun!

Even the break out was a problem, because there wasn't enough cover for everyone. Assi solved it by just staying in the totally open break out area and shooting everything his marker had to give at the opponents before joining Hagen on the right tape (edge of the playing field).

While both Steffens and Michael held the left tape under control, Hagen and Assi joined rifle power to nail the other side with Hirsel's help. A cheeky opponent tried to get Steffen out of the snake right in front of Assi and Hagen and had to realize very quickly that three barrels can shoot a lot of paint and left the game dripping with paint.
After the right tape was cleared, our left side went out for clean up and tagged the rest of our very cramped opponents.

All in all it was a great day. League games here we come ! Here are just a few more impressions: Hagen and Kerry with their Eurospeed Angels the Black Red Gold Special Edition.
