The GPBA Final in Mölln

On November 4th 2006, the time had come. With us this time: the Newcomer Division, the Women's Division and, of course, the Open Division. Overall, there were 28 female and male bikers, as well as little old me at the starting line.

The Hard of America race was pretty hardcore. In the end, Lars Würdemann of the firm Minimx-Shop.de stuck it out. Benni Diepold finished second and Thomas Icks third. Both are from the firm V-Toys.

Among the newcomers Ronald Prinzlau, the pink panther of team Pirate, showed that even old men can be pretty fast. He came in 5th , in Spiderman style.

In the women's division, Viola Riechert #5 of MSC Mölln on a MaHei KLX 110, won that day. Swenja Hansen #1, also had some wicked style.

Lars Würdemann #4, of the Minimx-Shop was the deserved victor of the day, just as he had threatened that morning.

Things didn't go as smoothly as usual for Benni Diepold #2. He tested the ground many times throughout the day and went with the crowbar during the final.

In the Rookie Division, which was open to all ages, the youngsters gave the older folks some secret tips in exchange for chocolate.

Once again, my two best guys...

Did the moped shrink against???

Here the race supervisor shows the number one… umm… anyway, he's letting everyone know that there's only one more lap to go.

Following everything was the championship award ceremony, where the top three collected their well deserved Euros. From left to right:
Dennis Drews 2nd place GPBA 2006 #666 of Team Affenbande, Benni Diepold 1st place GPBA 2006 #2 of Team V-Toys, Dirk Blohm 3rd place GPBA 2006 #11 of Team Hot-Shot Monkeys

We're looking forward to next season!
