those of you who think that Pirates are easily identified by their peg legs, the hooks on their hands or their eye patches are mistaken. Back in the year 1553 the notorious, French pirate Francois Leclerc, also known as "Peg Leg" was run out of San Sebastian by artillery.But the Gomeros won't have it that easily in the year 2006 with Pirate Captain Ubi Blutsventje, also known as "the Bloodthirsty", because, as we were notified by the "Valle-messenger", "THERE ARE PIRATES ON GOMERA"!!!

It all began with the New Years party at the "Black Whale" in Heidelberg, where I said goodbye to "Waltraud" Matthias Ball and "Lara Croft" Katrin Schwinn and made my way to the Frankfurt airport, where I promptly celebrated the new year on the escalator of Terminal 1. At 2:40am the first flight of 2006 took off, its destination Teneriffa-South, from there the crossing to Gomera took place on a captured "Olsen Ferry", which I naturally sunk in the harbor of San Sebastian …..
Satisfied, I began my training plan, which was put together by Frank Joerder of 4Benefit, www.4benefit.de, in the Valle Gran Rey: first part, 3 days in GA ½, so up the mountain all day long with a pulse of 130… But yesterday a special guided tour of the Bike Station Gomera, www.bike-station-gomera.com, was on the program: the bike and boat tour through the "UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Garajonay" Cedro bay forest in the fog with a final downhill into the sunlight of the Playa de Santiago. We made our way back to the hippy Valle Gran Rey by Garajonay-Express-Ferry.

Today, on my day off, I will hopefully further my individual growth esoterically and spiritually through group dynamical processes at the "Place of Light", the Finca Argayall, www.argayall.com, with some Kundalini meditation and some Osho followers…
In the "here and now" the preparations for the "PIRATE Bike-Week La Palm 2006" with and MTB marathon on March 12th and the MTB-Marathon Gran Canaria on March 18th, are underway….
