This weekend the MTB season 2005 finally started for me too. In Goseck by Weißenfels I raced for the Mid-german Cup. After a few problems with the navigation the village was found. The course (2 laps of 7.5m/12km) had all you could wish for. Singletrails, fast descents, steep ramps.

During the first lap my legs didn't really function as well as I wanted them to, the missing training camp on La Palma was noticeable!In the second lap the motor slowly started running and I was able to pass another 4 or 5 bikers. In the end I came in 7th.

Oh well, I'd say I have my work cut out for me before the next race!
