The Biker Friends Homburg Saar invited us to the Homburg race of the Pentecost oxes.
I figured: you'll fit in well and the sun is shining.
So, I packed up my car and made my way to the Saarland.

During the warm up the first misunderstandings started taking place, when one of the track "sentry" told me to get to the starting/finish line quickly, because the women's race was about to begin.

The race went well, except for the sporadic chants of "Annette…..Anette“ .

I came in with the main group, the track was a little too wavey for me.
And even the girls had fun.

Result: I'm about 44lbs/20kg too heavy to be an Ivan Basso double.
In other respects, the bike-tutu really turned some heads.
