The time has finally come again! Next weekend, September 08-10, the Pirate team championships will take place within the framework of the 3rd international P-Weg Marathon weekend in Plettenberg.The skull and crossbones will be flying high over this little town in the Sauerland again.
Over 40 bloodthirsty buccaneers are registered for the different races in Plettenberg. Once again, the BSN-Pirate Team will be making up the largest team of the event. "Let's get ready to rumble", will be the battle cry on Sunday morning, when Captain Ron sends his buccaneers on a pillaging mission to take over the podium in the overall ranking this year.

Entertainment off the tracks has also been arranged. A colorful supporting program of live bands, DJs, etc., will make sure that the atmosphere will be awesome all around.
Let us not forget our Pirate host Dimi, who will take care of the Pirates, when it comes to their free time.
By the way, Dimi solidarized with the team riders and so his crew will be wearing pink t-shirts.

As always the Pirates will have a gym for sleeping at their disposal starting Friday. This year breakfast will not be served in bed for organizational reasons. However, a big morning meal will be offered to everyone from 6am on at the youth center in the center of town.
This year, over 2000 athletes will be hitting the tracks. On Saturday the first ultra runners (41.6m/67km and 6890 vertical ft/2100hm) will start their race at 6am and the marathon runners will follow.
On Sunday, the MTB race (53m/86km) will begin at 9am and the 28m riders will start at 10am.
Plettenberg is the target. Let's go on a raid!
