Here we see our Detmar getting his step on at the international Stair-Run in Radebeul.....

The Stair-Run takes place every October in Radebeul. One has to climb 397 steps up 287ft/87,5m. The record time is 2.02min. The start is at the bottom of the stairs in 3 groups.

I made it in 3.13min and came in 4th in my age division. A pretty good result that I was satisfied with.

I heard about the Stair-Run from the THW (Technisches Hilfswerk = technical relief organization), where I have been volunteering for the past 8 years (picture of the actual challenge, guy on the far right with the hat = ME). This event is supported by safety personal and technical support.
