Freshly in love and just married, I stood at the airport in Palma de Mallorca on Sunday March 20th at 6:10am with my bride "Terrace-Philipp"… we hopped into a taxi and made our way to the hotel as fast as possible. Right into bed with my "honey buns", I thought… But instead the practice round of 93m/150km started at 10am.

After receiving a three man bedroom, with Stefan Schlie, in our Hotel San Diego in El Arenal, to our detriment, the three "undercover agents" were required to be present every night at 6pm for "Lenßen & Partner" on SAT.1: Blond Poison, The Death Sniper or The Peeping Tom Under the Bed, under the blankets there was definitely some investigating going on.

But why was the bride black (blue, green, just done for) as the night, despite the wedding in white, after the 105.6m/170km round??? And why did she choose to sleep in jeans with her back to the wall that night???

But suddenly my bride's dark period was over, after a fall during our trip into the mountains, the "Red Period" began, now it was all over…

The days went by, we started taking the detour to our favorite café, "Casablanca" in El Arenal, earlier and earlier during our training rides every day… Everyone at Ballermann 3, finally Stefan Schlie got to meet "normal people "...
