the Hamburg Pirate BMX team took part in the National Association Championship in Bispingen. The weather was perfect and the track was okay too!

Unfortunately, the groups in the youth and junior divisions were put together, due to low attendance, so Faro Kattner (youth) had to ride with the elite, which was well attended.
I had the misfortune of having to start on the outermost track in both finals (20" & 24") and so I got into a jam at the beginning each time.
I was still able to come in 2nd in both divisions.
Faro Kattner came in 5th both times, despite the tough competition.
