after death is before death and so I have been raised from the reaper's grave once more.

I have started street training again. I made it through a relaxed lap in the Soria Valley with my princesses Ruth Hagen and Tanja Wittig without Golf-contact.

How it all began:
how should I explain it??? "The Absolute Worst Case Scenario" or "Hardcore Zero" during the Ubi Blutsventje Marathon-Island-Hopping on La Palma - Gran Canaria might work: It began with a bad cold during the trip to La Palma, a week ago on Sunday I spent the first few days in Puerto Naos in bed, while the marathon preparations for the 3rd International Province-MTB-Marathon on March 11 were in full swing......

Near the end of the week, I was feeling well enough to participate in a few of the training tours on my new "Cannondale Caffein SL". On Sunday, I was able to watch Andi Strobel competently won the long distance......

Okay, next try. On Monday, I took the Binter Canarias to Gran Canaria to go for a coffee-street-lap. Then catastrophe struck when I collided with a VW Golf in oncoming traffic, after which I was unconscious for a short moment, rode in an ambulance and underwent a 2 hour examination......

There I was, back at the hotel in a neck brace and a bunch of bandages, on time for the dinner buffet… Of course my participation in the OPEN MTB-Marathon with the UCI Marathon World Cup on Saturday was cancelled... This meant that I could now focus my entire attention on my princesses and being spoiled at the Thallasso Therapy Center. The next day I planned on riding a little lap on the street without coming into contact with a VW Golf if possible.....

My newest plans: after the SNAFU on the Canary Islands, I will be starting at the 2nd Manavgat -MTB-Marathon in Side/Turkey on April 17 2007.
