On December 25th our trip to the island Norderney in the North Sea began. The running conditions were great along the sea, as we tried to whip ourselves back into shape. We had to get rid of that Christmas feast somehow.

After 6 days we had had enough and we thought that sunshine would lead to an improved performance. So, we were off to Lanzeraote!!

From the North Sea to the playa blanca. Here, we could not only ride our bikes well, but also take runs through the mountains. The bikes were left standing and we ran our daily laps.

At certain times the thought occurred to me that my bike would have been pretty helpful, but my girlfriend's voice (she was on a bike) forced me to finish my way on foot.

Considering the constantly awesome weather and the extremely impressive surroundings, even the water breaks that the merciless voice granted me, were highlights.

The voice that's been driving me for over 6 years :) and is always there for me.
