Hola kollegas de biciclettas,

It's been a long time since there has been any news from Bonsai, but here's a whole load of it! Thanks to the god of weather, who bestowed a few more summery days on us, we had two more riding technique courses in the Nürnberg Steinbrüchlein.
While a "classic" course for Abby-Average-Biker was scheduled for SA, we got hardcore on SU and tips and tricks were given for riding in sections, back tire jumping/shifting and Northshore trials for fun, to all those interested in riding trials…

One can see by the example of Stefan, a Jeep trailer and ex-motocrosser, that Pirate is ahead of the pack where fashion is concerned: just leave the cross outfit in your closet for about 20 years and magically it's in fashion again!!!

Next to the Northshore shenanigans and hard trial sections, which some passed with flying colors, there were, of course, bunches of technical high jinks, which cost a lot of effort and sure instincts on the brakes...

Pretty in Pink... because the sun was laughing (at me) so nicely, another pose, a smile... tataaaaa...

As revenge for torturing the boys of zabotrails.de so badly, I was subjected to a men's arts and crafts hour last weekend in the Staubachs' basement. Lots of light for little money was the motto and so we, the Hobby-MacGyvers and Helper-Jean Pütz, crafted fun helmet lights out of Fackelmann pepper shakers and sensational 20W - I see everything in lights now!

Of course, after finishing 7(!) lights, the masterpieces were tested for efficiency and so we made our way to the "Kalkreuther Berg, north of Nürnberg, in the hours of the night. It was awesome and the system convinced and long bike tours will be safe this winter… you can't get more light for 50 bucks!!!

It looks like bad weather is coming, so I will be getting out of here shortly. I will soon be making my way back to Fuerteventura with my S.E.K. "Vox. I'm curious to see what expects me there and how the week will go… more of this program after these messages...

Adios Bonsai...
