Last Thursday, the Sauerland Pirates, represented by Zimbo, Schnuffi and little old me, made it our mission to throw a befitting "farewell" event for our sickly comrade Stedebecker.
The reason being the operation on his meniscus (get well soon!), which will incapacitate him for a while. We started with a little bike tour through the local, barred woods. However, not all participants were able to master the 9.3m/15km without trouble.
Pirate Schnuffi stood out: first, he had to pay tribute to the hard training and made it up the hill like a lung amputee (quote "Zimbo I'm dead serious… one more stupid comment and I'm gonna hit you in the face").

Later, everyone had to help out changing his tire (thank you 3.5 Bar), since he had neither tube nor pump

However, during the tire changing process we did notice a misfortune of Stedebecker's. He seemed to be having some menstrual issues.

After work, time for play.
Select guests were waiting with the Pirate innkeeper for the hero with male menstruation. The traditional process followed: Dimmi brought the wheat beer to the table by the crate and the mood loosened up.
It was a very successful evening with the Pirate innkeeper. I hope we will all be together again soon.
