Strictly speaking, from Friday morning at 7am til Sunday at midnight, we slept about 5-6 hours.....

at least Papa Ron set up a nice sunshade for his men....

here we have the totally untrained "Senior Citizen Team" before the start: Robby.K, Hoffi, Armin and Alex (the baby)

the single starters were up first, Andreas and Thomas....still in good shape...

and Andreas is off... where's Thomas?

Robby.K the athletic leader elected himself as the starting rider... successfully!

nighttime came surprisingly quickly....

except for a few little mistakes the switches went pretty well at night too, but will still be more coordinated next year!

rifles at their feet the guys made it through the night on a two lap rotation....

even a mouse has to sleep sometime....

...and they kept going at the familiar speed with the first rays of the sun....

...and Robby.K joined world of the living once again... well, kind of...

in the end not only Eddy, our loyal photographer, but the whole team...

rejoiced over a 4th place in the overall ranking of the 4-man teams and a 23rd place as a single starter (Andreas).... only Thomas (single starter) didn't have much reason to celebrate...
after 3 flats and 1broken chain, his drop out broke off, which meant it was over for him halfway through. He still managed to land in 58th place though.
