The two of us travelled to Sweden for midsummer. We only had
one week of vacation, but since it never gets dark, the days
count as double. We spent most of our time in and around Fjällbacka,
north of Göteborg.
Here we tested what a big rock like this allows us to do with
him. He lets us to ride around on him.
He lets us climb around on him and I can wedge myself into
anything...
He serves as an observation deck for the midnight sun over
the ocean.
4000 years ago, he was the canvas for the graffitti of our
forefathers.
Right next to the rock, we found an abundance of single trails
that were just waiting to be explored by our tires.
The rocks, the prehistoric sites, the marinas and the vastness
and loneliness so near to friendly civilization in the area
around Bohuslän offer you everything you could dream of, when
the weather is good. If the weather hadn't taken a turn for
the worse, we'd still be there.
