Stevens Cup in the snow,

at the 11th december 2011, I picked myself up for the last time this year, to participate at a cross-race of the Stevens-Cup in Kaltenkirchen. When I got there, I was surprised, they got snow here, sadly it was all slippery and muddy and so it was really difficult to ride the course. But, this belongs to ride a cross-race and you learn something about course control... . After a slow start, the race wasn´t the best form e. After a crash, I lost all off my motivation and so I ride on my own the race to the end and ended up on the 12th place. But...Now...Finally...after 9  months....the season of 2011 is finally over and I won´t start at any race before april 2012… For the next season, I founded a new sponsor, so, I´ll start under a differnt flag next year, but don´t worry, I´m still a member of the Pirate-Bunch. But I want to thank you for all of the support in the last 6 years, at all of you Pirates... See you soon, Your Thomas Z. Bummer, that Thomas will leave us, but if I got that offer, I would have gone too. Besides Thomas, Robby K. participated as well at the race and finished on the 2nd place, before Ede... For myself, I arrived their, highly motivated together with Melina, but the course became more slippery and muddy, with every race and class, and when it was time for us to race…Melina and myself were not in the mood to ride and get ourselves dirty, but luckily our new team-mate Toddy, participated. Before the start, he told us, that he wants to start really slow today, to let the other maniacs go, but after 100m he was on the third place… Afterall, he ended up on the 13th place. Nice work, under these conditions...and an awesome performance... Greetings Ron
