Easter run in Alsdorf

Every year on Easter monday we´ll travel to the Broichtall-run over 10km in Alsdorf. ChiKKen and the Capt´n travelled there of course with their bikes and us girls because of other cirumstances by car.While we had fantastic weather conditions, chiKKen and myself kept an eye on our competitors. On the hilly but scenically wonderful course it went quiet fast, just from the start, sadly chKKen was too fast for me after the first ascent, but he was in sight. I think he was wuiet warm from the ride here, and after 39:26minutes he finsihed on the 12th overall and 2nd in his age-group, really satisfied.   Shortly after him I crossed the finish line with a time of 40:55min on the the 1st place overall and as well the first in my age-group, of course, having said this: VICTORY…   We were cheered up but our family, which enjoyed the meantime in the local zoo. And after the run, we needed some well-earned refreshements.  Than we went home again, but we climbed on every wall. TEAM PIRATE JULIACUM Sveny, Captain, ChiKKen Juniors Timika and Janika
