First race  ESK and last race of the Crosscup

Moin Pirates, like in the first race of the Klaus Störtebecker Memorial Cup of the ESK Berlin, and it was a tough race by these guys. The race took part in the small park behind the subway station “ Frankfurter Allee”, the park was all slippery because of the wet leaves and besides the starting hill, extreme fast. My legs burned really much after this start in the Le Mans style, and because of the fact, that I lay far behind at the end of the field, I had to pass almost everybody of the field. Results (gigawatt) http://www.stoertebeker-cup.de/2012-2013-wertung-1-lauf/ Than it was time for the winter, but for the  real.  The last race of the CC-Cup of Berlin and I was with my guys there at the Müggelberge in the snow.The course was really hard, fast and even some guys from the Stevens Team from Hamburg found their way here. Because some of the pro´s also like to ride some CC during the wintertime, the races sometimes got the feeling, that you are in the front line of the Tour de France. I was able to ride with the first group for two rounds… The snow was not that slippery and even the tubed tires went quite good, just when I rode thru the sand, I wished myself a MTB, it was quite heavy in the downhill sections. But at least one wish was granted, the wish of not being lapped It´s not easy when you ride together with such strong men, but afterwards weh ad delicious coffee and cake and a trip home with heavy snowfall, you can see the results under:  http://www.offroadserie.de I´m looking forward to another great year of 2013.
