At the  23.03.2013 we went to the  ADAC Enduro CUP in Melsungen, while we were having -5degrees.

You had to ride 4 assessment tests with 4 rounds on different grounds. The highlight was a steep uphill passage, which wouldn´t able to climb even by feet, and this section was very interesting for all the viewers and spectators because of the large number of crashes here. On my opening gap, I made a salto backwards and my back wheel hit another ride and kicked him from his vehicle. Luckily nothing happen, but I was shocked. In spite of the cold, it became really warm on the bike soon. The course was, facing last year, better arranged and on a higher level, but the hindrances were all slippery because of the ice.   The 1st assessment went quite good, but I remarked the cold on my fingers The 2nd assessment was really good, my supporteres cheered at me very loud and much. Thanks, to Martin ( Pirate) Corinn, Sabi and Lars, and this time I was able to solve the hill without a crash. The 3rd assessment didn´t went that good, my finger were almost death by the cold and my condition were almost gone. After a few crashes and some slips, I had to repair my clutch shifter, my rear mud guard and my side covering. During the break until the 4th assessment, Martin, Lars and myself fixed my bike. I was warming up in the van for the last assessment.   Now it was time fort he last assessment. Before the start, I jut hoped and wish to finish in health and to get home into my hot tub. But, than, everything went really good. My power came back and I was able to ride full throttle. I thought to myself, you got nothing to loose and eve the covering of you bike is broken. So, I pushed the pedals really hard and was able to gain time until the crossing of the finidh line, and my effort should be rewarded.   I took the 1st place in the ER) class, my reward for all the suffer.
