On  Sunday the 21.07.13 was the „ Karlsfeld Race Triathlon“ in Karlsfeld, near Munich.

A bright blue sky, clear water and in the beginning comfortable temperatures. Ideal conditions for the 1100participants. You could choose between the Olympic ( 1,5-47-10) and the sprint distance (0,75-27-5). I decided myself for the sprint distance. Swimming was like a catastrophy, because I had to swim alone without having a tail of a group. Even on my change onto the bike I had some problems. I t wasn´t that easy to pull on my top over my wet body. I should have worn my tri-suit. Finally I made it towards my bike and so my beloved part could start. A picture of the transition area, after every triathlete sat on their bikes. On the fast bike course over 27km, I was able to reach an average speed of 42,6km/h. Temperatures were rising, you get to know on the closing running course and a few athletes had to give the race. Because of this, I was all satisfied crossing the finish on the 14th place overall. After the race I enjoyed the buffet and  massage. Like a perfect Sunday Greetings from Munich, Daniel
