Just two weeks after the DOLOMITI SUPERBIKE MTB-MARATHON, my alarm-clock raised me up early in the morning (What...? at 4o´clock its still dark???) and instead of fall asleep again like my 3 months old cat „Captain“ I rode to Regensburg for the start of the Arbermarathon...

The Arber cycling Marathon is a RTF (BikeTourRide) with gigantic proportinos : 7000 starters from Regensburg to Arber with the choice of 6 differnent courses : roadbike: 56, 125, 170 or 225km and MTB : 60 or 120km...and all courses with a large amount of altitudes...

I did not really fell in love with the courses over 8 or 10 hours(ouch). I felt a little bit tired from all the races this year, because of that I just rode the 125 km/ 1200m altitude in about 4 hours and had lots of fun.

Yummy…the cake, pie at the 2nd food and drink service station was really tasty…yummy,yummy…It is always worth it to hold up at a service station…smile…
