The picture shows me before…

This year I wanted to compete in a distance which is longer than olympic and shorter than the middle-distance, and where I landed? In Baumholder, there you had the nice distance of 1,2km swim - 50k bike and 13,7k run.

So, the first time open waterswim with wetsuit…

50km on bike, and just hilly and at the end 13,7k´s run torture right thru Baumholder. The running course was also everything else than flat…

and this is how I looked like afterwards...

Something to realize?? A good result (1st place in my age-group and 3rd place overall) Allright, their were just 5 women, so it wasn´t that hard, but I´m real satisfied with my time of 3:27:20h. Because the 4th place were only 20seconds slower, and I pushed the hell out of me on the last 3k´s, allabout pain(even in the days after) and the best sunburn you can get…
