Last Sunday we were off to the 5th run of the Stevens- Cyclo-Cross-Cup
in Bad Bevensen. Fun stuff, when it's below freezing. The
track was 2.17m/3,5km long and pretty flat. About 20 bikers
started the race at 11am. I don't know if it was because of
the weather, but they all rode off, like there was no 2nd
lap.
André had a great start and I too was able to assert myself
in the middle of the field. After 2 to 3 laps, the field had
sorted itself out and the battles for positions were in full
swing
I rode in a group of three, until I had to take a soil sample
from an icy meadow.
However, I was able to fight my way back and finished 15th.
André came in 11th!
Now, staying healthy is the name of the game, because the
cross season isn't over.
