The Time has come for my first official Competition in the dress of the Pirates. Now, I had to choose the material, so I can put me in a good perspective while I´m on probation. It would be not that big problem, but my master and cavalry captain said to me one day before the race : You Cereal-Over-Eater, 3:45 or better or GET LOST…with these nice bottom up words, I went to start this tournament

Shortly after, every thought was made, and I could Start on Sunday morning, unhurriedly the Hannover Marathon, nervous, drawn but I got the right facial expression to „Enter“ the Course....

everything went well, I even was able to recognize people standing on the sidewalk waving and cheering. So, No one can say I´m blind as a bat(mole) in blood thirst

When I reached the Finish-Line, I checked my watch and 3:42. Yes, I made it, so I could Smoke the Winner-Cigar and not to forget the Winner-Beer...

I tried to held the Pirate Flag high, what I hope, I´ve done. Real nice have been some comments from the people on the Sidewalk : OH, Look, A PIRATE… What I learned from this : The trick is, keep on breathing…
