The
Seepark Triathlon in Bad Bodenteich should be some kind of
hardness test for my knee, before I gonna start at the OstseeMan,
a long distance triathlon, because I often had to break up
with my swim exercise, while my knee was hurting like hell.
So, I needed to know, if it works right or if I can ticking
of the year.
After our arrival on Friday we took a look on the bike course,
with all the others, we rode the course once and they told
us everything we needed to know about the curves, the food
and drink supply and special characteristics of the course.
On Saturday we walked and took a look over the running course
made a water swim test to know everything about the bridges, the
shallows, currents and also about the underwater forests…
So, when I limps along my way, I received a tipp from Peter
the bike guide, go just straight to our physio and tape your
knee. Well, I thought, it couldn´t get worther than now and
my temper wasn´t the very best…
This steelplate buddy was the guardian over the registration
and the pasta-party. There were lots of noodles, beverages
and much more. After that, I went to the physio to get my
“tape”
The start of the swim was over the whole width of the lake
and you had to make a left hand turn after the small island.
Nice scramble...I wasn´t the only one to take a zip of seawater...
Finally I made it to my bike and now regaining time…
The very challenge on the running course were on real stiffy
abrupt rise, which you had to run 8 times...
When you see the food and drin k supply in the finish-area,
you´ll see which how much effort the whole team works here.
Starting with the course survey, over to the pasta-party,
the contest and the food and drink supply in the finish-area,
top grade for all of it... Special thanks to all of the team.
Wait…the tipp with the “tape” were a real good one. For that
many thanks to the massage praxis of Mr. Richter for his bother
his time with a limping PIRATE…Now, let´s get it started to
the Baltic Sea…OstseeMan, I´m coming…
My own food supply looked a little bit different than others….
Hasta luego
