a little bit late, but I send you the bulletin. State championship in Buchholz. On the 31.05.09 all the cross-country riders met to ride the Stevens-cup in the forest of Buchholz.

There were a large amount of Pirates at the start, even the Boss in person, arrived for the first race to support all of us.

Jost already told us from the public domain race; Now the bulletin for the Seniors-race…

The Seniors-race were heavy manned : Jens Schwedel, Robert Karasch and Andre Zamponi are just a few examples.

Just after the start, I tried to stay in front. Luckily, I managed that, but followed by Andre and Robert…

At the end of the race Jens Schwedler had a flat tyre, and I almost could smell the victory. But he won well-deserved and I were able to ride just a few moments at the rear of a World-Champion.

Andre Zamponi is still a registered Pirate, even he is sponsored by TrengaDE, he finished 3rd overall just before Robert Karasch !?!?!?
Both made up a real hard fight during the last round, the very race-riders…

After all, it was a good and successful weekend for all of the crew...
