1st the good news: Even today I get a new Picture from SPORTOGRAF Guido. Tomoorow at the Heat I`ll be there again at the Cape. Allthough when the Cape Epic Tour requirements are very hard for human and machine, but the Sportmanship is undescribeable under the participators…

Though I had to ride alone after the pullout from DON, I could get at least 4 times some help from other Bike-Aces from all over the world After my first two flat tyres, fixed with my own material, I`ve been in the need of help from the others Riders for the flats number 3-6. Without saying a thing, everyone grabs in the backbag and gave me the Black gold, I was in need of. This is not something for granted during the races in Germany... But thtis is “CAPE EPIC”. The Race from this year is different according to the last years by two things:
The stages are shorter - But the technical standard is higher. The 1st things leads to more stiffy slopes,but they did not save on heightmeters…
And the second is just genious. This is the Spirit of MTB. One Trail after another – Wonderful. Because of the pullout from DON by healthy reasons, I got a All-Around-Supply. Svenja and the DON worried about me and everything very much. Bike-wash, Bike-Service, Baggage Carrier and, and, and…at this time many thanks for the Team-Work. Well, enough for today. Tomorrow its getting hard again
