Mornin' Everyone, the fourth stage is in the box. For me it
was definetly the hardest day. With a sore ass, numb fingers,
sunburn on my neck and extremly strained knee's, I could have
only moved at snail speed. Hey those kinda days can happen.
For me that meant that I had the oppertunity to admire this
wonderful land even more.
My first mate is feelin better. Maybe the last few days wernt
so great for him because the track he left in South Africas
ground, was very noticible. Unfortunatly that didnt help our
team or our placing much but for his ego it was probably good
to decide the tempo at a mountain for once. We ended up not
bein to happy with the circumstances though, he ran over the
controlpoint with to much time diffrence and we got a time
penalty.
It remined me of the story with the Pirates with the two eyepatches,
we all know how that story ended up. Well tomorrow we have
the longest stage of this trip, 146km, but only 1800hm. well
see how that goes.
Till then Ahoi and Chain to the Right,
Stefan Zimmermann
