On May 30th, 2009, the United States Cycling Federation held the Florida state time trial championships in Jacksonville, Florida.
Over 250 racers turned out to vie for state championships, USA Cycling medals, and the coveted Florida State Champion jersey in the various racing classifications.

I won my division by almost 2 minutes setting a new Florida state record for 20 kilometers. I was presented with a beautiful state champion skin suit by my racing club, The Orlando Road Club.
