Last Sunday, after three months competiotion break it was finally time once again. The race was called Helmuts Hellride, and it was pretty hard core. Deep forrest ground and mud made the 8km race a chanllenge

. There were 67 riders who wanted to know any way. As always it was right to the point after the start. Rain- and hailshowers were right on time, just about so ontime that nothing else could have gone wrong. Well, if it wasnt for the bad legs.

When I hit the finish after 40 km, I ended up being happy with 15th palce. My team mate Thomas Zühlke made 4th place, which is really good, and team Pirate was satisfied. 2 days later, I ended up compeating in the 5000 meter track here in Trittau, I was able to win in a clear 18:10min.
