The first 10k run for our mate Little Junior should be his first really ongoing. It got to be his first best time in this distance. As I said to him before the start” Junior, the course is a little bit hilly and not the fastest”…

I was motivated on the second guess from one statement of Junior after this run, but before the times were online. Capt`n I wanna be this year at least faster than you on a 10k. After the results and times were up, I trained like before, that it to say, almost not at all...HÖ,HÖ,HÖ,HÖ...
This picture speaks volumes !! Junior was fighting and pricking to strike home… Fortunenately, he didn`t bite this (old) man by overtaking him…The time for Little Junior was not bad at all, for his first 10k on this hilly course. No Question !!!

Capt`n Klotz on his way to the Finish-line. Half a minute slower than last year, but satisfied at all,reasonably. Capt`n Klotz: 12th overall, age Group 2nd in 37:26, but he was FIRST WOMEN

Sveny on her last meters to the Finish, Overall 2nd and Age-Group 1 at the Ladies in 40:31min

Satiesfied Pirates at the Finish, 294 made it at all. Little Junior on his first 10k, Overall 79 and Age-Group 10th in 44:07 and only 5 Ladies before him including one Lady-Pirate.

One Week later, Sveny and Capt`n Klotz went to the 7.Grundfos Sprint Duathlon in Mettmann, 5kRun, 21k Bike and 2,5k Run again

Very Short, but real Tough, how it should be in a Sprint Distance…Anyway, we`re still good-looking after the Race, or what??!!
All of the Courses were hilly and heavy. On the Bike-course was a 800m Chute(probably a little bit shorter) with a 15-18% acclivity. Last year I stood there with 39/21, but this year I got a 39/25, it was halfway easier…
Afterall Sveny should have take her Triathlon-Time-Machine and not her 11kg Bike

But it still looks good and fast. The details of this race were: Sveny 7th Overall at the Ladies in 1:14:30h. Last Year it would be enough to win this Race...Capt`n Klotz: 34 Overall in 1:06:31h with about 329 Finisher overall.
But we met another Pirate from the neighboring place. He scompete the 5th Time in Mettmann. He also looked good and fast on the Bike !
