Last sunday arranged the development association Laggenbeck in the Laggenbecker pool its second triathlon. Someone who started was the Rheiner endurance sportsman Mike Sonntag from Team Pirate.

The athletes had to master these day 400m of swim, 15km cycling and a 5,5km run. The organizer devided the starter into 4 groups, because there would be no chaos while swimming in the 50m pool.

In the first starting group was the one who should win this triathlon that day, he finished with a time of 57:52min. The Pirate, who started in the last group, were able to finish this contest also under an hour…

Sonntag finished the swim part after 7min as the first one of his ggroup, after a fast change, he went on his bike, and reached some speed about 60km/h and reached really fast the transition area again.

Now,he had to solve the run, which wasn´t the easist with a nasty long acclivity. Sonntag pushed the shit out of him and finished 2nd overall with a time of 58:08min only 16 seconds behind the winner.
