the first day of rest on La Palma's west side, is fittingly a rainy one

We have been vigorously pedaling on our MTBs for the past three days. Re-adapting myself from the racer to the bike wasn't exactly easy. The thick tires felt especially weird.

Princess Kerstin Brachtendorf/Team FIAT ROTWILD, 3rd place in the German MTB-Marathon Championship, consistently shows me up in the mountains. And, as we know, La Palma is one big hill. Oh well, at least my knowledge of the locale sometimes gives me the opportunity to shine on the slopes.

A lot of training still needs to be done before the La Palma MTB-Marathon, www.bikelapalma.com, on March 2nd… I'm definitely there!!!
