Hola Pirate ladies and gents. The second trainings camp this year on the way to Ironman in Frankfurt lead me to the sunny island of Mallorca.
The island spoiled me with sun and alot of wind. SOmehow the wind followed me from Lanzarote to Malle. So sails were hissing......

Together with 35 other Triathletes from Eastwestfalen this meant 2 weeks givin gas and training. A Pirate confused the land rats completly. Did they think I was Captain Jack Sparrow? Tisktisk.

The tours this year were somehow longer this year than usual, which outwieghed the super weather. ALone 3 times we hit the 7 hour marker and the 220km ride to Cap Formentor which took me 7:51h was also pretty cool. The obvious thing with these tours is that the communication becomes less and less torwards the end. Oh well I guess at some point everything has already been said. ;o)

During the track evaluation its unfortunetly noticible that I rode Puig Major and Col de Sollar sevral time, but my favorite mountain Randa is missing this year. Always right by it and somehow always left it on the side. How did this happen? The signs of this years Mallorca Heat race (which unfortunetly didnt take place) is a polarized pink Pirate suit. All the Girlies wanted it... but we all know that black is in and takes off ten pounds.

Good that the advanced carbon didnt give out till the very last ride to Arenal.
