At the Whitsun-weekend was a 2nd race in Niederwürzbach(Saarland) for the veteran-cup. The first exersice on Saturday went really good. Even if their were not much possibilities to pass on this narrow course

During the 2nd exercise we had problems with the electric ignition. Back in the driver camp we searched deperately for the failure and finally we were able found and repair it…

Than, on Sunday we began with the warm-up. Because of the large amount of driver, we had two start-groups. We were in the second. The start were good as ever, we queued in 5th or 6th. We were able to defend this place until the end of the race, until the ignition failed again, and we fall back to the 9th

This suppose to mean only to start in the B-finals, we had one hour to the start and checked up the bike again for the failure of the ignition and repaired it. Finally, the start, 17 bikes, right after the start we showed the others whats going on here and let the “Wasp” out…

In the first curve we were 3rd, shortly after that, we were able to reach position #2. We fought tough against all the tries to overtake us and made it 2nd to the finish line, which means we won the B-final, because the bike before us rode aside from jugdement. And because of 2 breakdown in the A-finals, we finished 13th overall.
After all, not bad at all. At the 27/28 of june we start in Feldkirch/Austria, which is a race for the Swiss Championship.
