About an hour before the start, the continuous rain, which was tuned with a few deluge samples, finally stopped. At 3pm, 350 "Fango Fans" were off on the 21.7m/35km and the 34.7m/56km lap, respectively. You really had to pedal to get out of the quagmire at the beginning.

My first time at Nordenau, my first time in pink and then this shitty weather.
Since I have been having problems with my right knee at the moment, the 34.7m/56km felt like 100 and the result was correspondingly modest.

But at least I finished! The other Pirate in pink, I think it was Daniel Schwink, seemed not to be having a good day either and dropped out. Hoping for sunnier days in Neustadt and Grafschaft.
