and three pink Pirates that brought some color to the Baltic. This was the right mixture for my first long distance. I met up with Andi (swimming) and Daniel (running), the other members of our relay team, "Team Pirate", in the early morning hours inorder to enjoy the event together as much as possible.

After 111m/180km and 5 ½ hours all that's left is "hot air"…

4 hours and 20min later we made it!! FINISH LINE!!

We ran the last few feet together. Crossing the finish line was a special event as always. We were unable to establish whether the applause was due to our good looks, our cool matching outfits or the flag. We ought to also mention that Daniel finished a long distance race alone just last weekend in Kalmar (Sweden).
