Special greetings to all of you from Paule and Elvis at the
Sparda-Bank race in Hagen, where both of them participated
at a 2h race( 5th run of the NRW-Bike Sport News Trophy.
You could see on the course the heavy rain falls of the day
before, so you had to speak of a really ambitious course after
all. I reckon that almost 75% of the course invites you to
fell of your bike. My personal creed for today was,not to
fell off my bike, which worked only by the loose of some positions
and of course I came very relaxed to the finish.
The food supply was allright,,because you passed it every
few minutes.
Why Am I here so in bustle, no one knows? Neither I…
Hans Peter finished 21th in his age-group. That makes an overall
standing in the ranking of the Trophy-series that HP is on
the 15th place and I´m a few places behind him on the 24th.
On this picture you can see how difficult it was to ride this
course.but it was quite a good thing for the viewers.
Just after this passage, came an uphill part, where I did
not see a rider who didn´t shove his bike up. But this wasn´t
the only passage, where you had to get off your bike to shove.
Jens-Martin did not start on the 3h race because of the course
and weather condition. The 3h race took part just after the
2h race on the same short round course. So, this made the
course not even easier to ride und this circumstances. Finally
you need almost half a day to clean up your bike again. Jens-Martin
is temporarily on the 2nd place in the Trophy ranking of his
age group. But before the finals will start o the 4th of october
2009 in Bruchhausen, we´ll see us next weekend in Pletenberg.
Dimi, time to cool down the beer…
Vielen lieben Dank an Brit für die vielen Fotos.
See you next week
