I was highly delighted, when I got back to our Pirate-Island
Plettenberg/ Sauerland. I drove their with quite goood intentions,
but hey were just intentions I just did lot´s of rubbish but
had as well lot´s of fun....
The clueless Schnuffi in a small shop, just before the start
for the half-marathon,which brought some change in his life…
Last year winner had no time at all, so Jörn tried to reached
for the Pirate-title…sadly without any success, cause he had
to give up.
Auntie Ulla did the walking stage.
A few minutes later, Schnuffi was very proud because he was
announced and honored as the fastest Pirate Germany´s (half-marathon)
with a certificate and a jersey of the german champion.
Dimi, Björn "Hops-Hai" Porsche, Elvis....on after each other,
slowly all the other Pirates find their way here from all
cardinal points.
Stedebeker´s : just married, couldn´t get a chance to seperate
them, even on the bike course....
Stepahn had to party all night, as always...but he was faster
than Mike Sonntag !?!?! How he do that????
Willy, my trustfullness bonecrusher during the starting period…
Käthe at full throttle !
...and what about Robert K. is still here again, and so…fastest
Pirate on the short distance.
Interview at the finish-line.
Capt´n Klotz had more luck by running than cycling, but he
look very relaxed doesn´t he???
A few moments later, Willy was back again.
After all was done, all Pirates met again at the Pirates-Homebase
at Dimi.
Next one to be happy was Doro at the women ranking…
Doro finished 3rd and Benita 4th in their age-group, not bad
for the Pirates,or?
Robby K. finished 2nd in his age-group.
Peter was 2nd in his age-group on the long distance and team-member
Andre Zamponi was 4th overall and 1st in his age-group(bu
in jersey of Trengade) and Jens Martin got the 4th place in
his age-group.
After all the ceremonies we came to the next championships,
the mastery of Stadtleben…
Bella and her securities…
Bonsai demnstrated his new tricks by throwing an invisible
lasso…
Few moments later, the first guys started the table dance
session…without braking any glasses…and there were lots of
glasses on the table… J
Dime was a solo entertainer, and he even changed his holiday
flight to Monday, just to came up with a fantastic show…No
joke, it was a doozie…
Schnuffi….some call him champion or sensei...
...finally... The Sirtaki…or whatever it was….
With expanding consumption of alcohol, the tables became smaller
...and Dimi was afraid of, that the table could hold more
than two „lightweight“ dancers....
Sadly at this time, Gaby and I had to leave to get to our
home port...we´ve been there at 2:30 in the morning. Maybe
there will come some more pictures from almost drowning survived
Pirates.
See you later
