24 H Worldchampionchip in Sulzbach Rosenberg

Lena Pickelmann, Thomas Wickles and Bernd Hagen from the RADioAKTIV Racing got together with Alexander Bauer the 24h Worldchampion Title in the 4mixed judgment.
The course started right next to the last remaining blast furnace and fined itd way on a 7.1km track on the area. Some of the buildings were build in the course, so no wonder about it , that it was a little bit narrow between the old machines, expecially during the night, naturally the course wasn´t illuminated. So, it was thrilling after all.
The organizer tried themselve on a changing course, which he did, with uncountable narrow corners and curves.

Not only after the corners you had to accelerate, even the 10m of altitude each round were hard for the riders. On Friday you soon recognized that the course was complety laced with broken pieces of glass and even metal. Lots of the riders had to break up there training, because of ounctures…

On Saturday was the start on the market place in Sulzbach Rosenberg and the riders rode easilwith a neutral start to the Maxhütte, Thomas Wickles was our start riders and soon took the lead, which we didn´t gave up anymore during the whole day.

Our team changed the riders after each round to get the most fastest lap-times, which whee about at 17min. But this mean, that you only had to regenerate only 50min, and the men at every seconfd tuen only 34 min, because Pickelmann interrupted every second round.

Myself, Tom, Bernd and Lena at the winning ceremony, we even had to shake hands with Kelly Joey…

I hope next year, we got a complete PIRATE-TEAM for the 24h race
