Two weeks ago, on the 23rd of august, was my home-race, the Taunustrails. Its not even just a race, which is nearest to my house, it´s also sponsered by “Fahrrad Freund”(bicycle friend). This is the bike-store, where I earn my money on Saturdays…
The organizer, had to solve a problem because of contrarious conditions, something like a 6-round-race. Each round got 15km and about 500m of altitude and had to be done, as I said before 6 times. You had the chance tp participate as a single, double or three-man team in the ranking of a just men/women or a mixed-team. It sounds even more complicated than it was…

I wanted to kick somes asses in the raniking of the women, so Iregistrated with a friend of mine as a women-double-team. One problems was, that there were only tow female teams, so it called or or nothing, “all” 1st place or “nothing” 2nd and last place.
We changed every round,but after the first round I was 2minutes behind our competitors. Nothing changed at all on this positions during the race. We changed after each round, but nothing worked, and in the last round my team mate became problems in her stomach and couldn´t go on that fast. Well, shit happens, we received “nothing”. But at least we got a winning-ceremony…

Because the shop“Fahrrad-Freund“ paid the entry few, I didn´t start with the pirate jersey. But on my pants and the helmet and at the winning-ceremony, you can see where my heart beats for.
