On Father´s day, the 13th of may, the triathlon of Amberg took
place under winterly conditions. The swim took place in the local
pool, on each lane we had 6-8 triathletes. So, we talked a bit
at before the start and queued us up in the order of our swim
abilities.
So, we had no boxing fights at the starts.
Just a few seconds after the start the water in the pools looks
like its cooking…
Accordant to that, you looked like after the 1500m of swim.
The temperatures were around 14 degrees and of course we had continuous
rain and so we made our way on the ambitious bike course with
lots of up and downhill parts.
But, the closing 1ok run brought you back to your normal body
temperature.
And with the eyes and the mind on the next contest with maybe
better weather conditions, you rapidly forget the pain inside.
