After the races in Engter and Surwold, we travelled for the next
race of the deries at the Attersee near Osnabrück. Ansgar ( Pirate
trainee ) had to solve another quest for becoming a real “ PIRATE
”.
Well dressed, we made our was to the starting line...
While we were warming up, Ansgar ( Codename “ ICEMAN” ) applied
for the title of” Somersault of the day”…
Both of us, by facing the wild bunch…
...just to queue up all behind…
Shortly after the start, the course lead directly into a wonderful
mud-pond…
Even Ansgar received his part of the mud…
We were allowed to play in the sand as well…
Even here, Ansgar wasn´t able to be stopped...
The “recovering” meadow became with each round more diffiicult
to ride and handle…
On the other side at the dyke, was some kind of giant slalome,
but up and down, not left and right...
Ansgar on his last meters…
DID IT!!! Now cool down, take a deep breath and act like it was
an easy job…
Even Ansgar did it…he faced the raced and finished it, and he
did a giant step on the long way of becoming a real “PIRATE”.
This weekend, I didn´t ride that far behind the others than in
my first races or at the beginning of my „ cross-career“. And
to wash and clean your bike, is also part of the race. Trainee
Ansgar wants to participate at the next race in Cloppenburg as
well.
Well, see you next time, we gonna attack…
