…is, when you order yourself at the beginning of the week some
touring ski and they arrive on Friday morning and they also fit
and if it starts to snow on Friday night. But now in strict rotation.
Until now, there weren´t a doubt of it, that it would be too cold
to exercise, but that we got that much snow, even in the flat
country because of the change of climate, I decided myself to
order a pair of touring ski. Obviously, a good idea, but I wasn´t
the only one ith it in good old Germany – bullshit.
Almost all of the beginner sets were sold in most of the shops
in Germany. While there aren´t any cross-country ski-run here,
it gotta be some spezial kind of ski. Nordic Cruising, they called
the touring ski, where you don´t need a cross.country ski-run
for it. The ski are shorter, wider and as always with scurf.
You aren´t that fast with them, but you can make some meters on
forest and meadow trails, just like you like it.
On friday finally my ski arrived, and before getting started I
had to bond some reasonable tags on it, ist a bond of honor J
While I only got one black skull left, I had to bond a silver
on the other side, it was a good idea, because now it´s easier
for me to decide between left or right side. Well, the ski don´t
care about it.
The first try outs on the ski, were some kind of stiffy and shaky
– okay, it was on saturday morning before breakfast, for my excuse.
But afterall I made it, I did a nice cross country ski run right
thru the snow. A very important thing for beginners is, to exercise
early for the run to the podium and for cheering…well, I´m still
doing the exercise…
But I already took a look for next week to run a marathon or half-marathon
in the swiss on touring ski.
While Timika didn´t were really excited about the snow and already
wore her bikini, I disarrange my plans of a ski-tour on sunday.
While Seveny and Timika wanted to splash around.
Luckily, for the following day at least, I could arrange something
with Timika, a kind of mixture of tour ski and tobogganning.
