I´m back in Germany with a suitcase full of sun. Just finsihed some tours in the sun of Gran Canaria, endless Café con Leche…but one after all: We entered our new 2010 Cannondale rent roadbikes from Free Motion ( www.free-motion.net) Here you had the choice between many roadbikes and MTB also to buy some new and used bikes. The shop supplies many belongings, some tours for road, MTB and Trekking, as well like special weeks and the most important thing for myself is, some very nice Café con Leche in the patio… At the weekend their was the 6th annual OPEN MTB-Marathon of Gran Canaria. This is the superlative Canarian bike-event.the criteron on Friday evening, the MTB-Marathon on Saturday, which was also the final of the 2010 Canarian Challenge.At the expo, in the Parque del Sur in Maspalomas,you were able to find Free Motion with some Cannondale MTB and roadbikes. IT became to a fight at the Marathon for the overall victory of the 2010 Canarian Challenge in the pro-class between James Ouchterlony( winner MTB-Lanzerote and second at the marthon of La Plama) and Andi Strobel ( second of the Lanzerote marathon and winner of the La Palma marathon) At the end of the day Andi Strobel won the 6th OPEN MTB-Marathon, while he had the better and stronger legs. Even the Drag-Queen of the Maspalomas Carnival likes to ride on a Cannondale, the carnival was celebrated here with a huge FIESTA until the nedt morning.
