I still had a little struggle with a cold. My Pirate lady had
a birthday party the evening before, what do you want more. Stand
up early in the morning at 5:30AM, getting started, arriving really
relaxed and to meet some familiar Pirate faces ( Elvis). Queueing
up in the last starting block, and off we go with at least 1million
riders…
You had to pass the other riders on the left than again on the
right....the course was allright, and not that hard like in the
Harz.
The nice Dutchman on the picture had some personal fight with
his brake, even on a flat part of the stage.
I did the 55km in 2:51h and finished 74th in my age-group. But
I couldn´t go any fster because of the leck of my exercise time,
but I´m working on it. Promised…
