Well,the event happened quite a long time ago, but I didn´t have
the time to write a bulletin.
As you all know and rememberI invited all of you for a Pirate-weekend
to Riepsdorf in the straw hostel, and some of you even followed
the invitation. Like Pirates do, we took hostages and shortly
after our arrival we took over the straw hostel and hoistes our
colors. Everybody should know, that the Pirates took over the
hostel this weekend to made up their meeting point.
Thomas, Rainer, Sabrina, Ron and Gaby arrived on Friday evening.
We met us at Chrome for a little talk over the plans for the next
day and than we went to our beds very early.
On Saturday morning we met oiurselves again in the straw hostel
for a very good breakfast. Even more Pirates arrived than I expected,
I was really satisfied about it !!!
So, not much time to waste, we grabbed our bikes and, okay and
off we go…okay, first we repaired Ron´s bike. Than we went from
Riepsdorf over Damlos and Lensahn to Schönwalde…right in the heart
of East-Holstein. But not only that, I even had some laughter
on my side, when I told everyone, that here at the Bungsberg,
should be built, Germany´s most northern ski-lift.
Yes, with his 168m over sea-level, is the Bungsberg the highest
mountain in Schleswig-Holstein. If you don´t belive it, here is

Okay Thomas, you´re right little hills are no mountains….but almost
750m of altitude by riding 100km is not bad, or what do you say???
Than we went on…because I promised all of them a view on the Baltic
Sea!
So, we went on passing Bergfeld, Kirchnüchel, Hähnersaal, Kletkamp,
Kaköhl( this name irratated us a bit…) and than the way went downhill
towards Hohwacht…I would say, it was a fantastic view over the
Baltic Sea…! How about a little break at the shore with selfmade
waffles, Ice cream and coffee !?! So, we went on to the promenade,
roofed wicker beach chair and the ice cream shops…delicious!
And as if ordered, when we sat there, the sun came up. What do
you want more ? In my very own and holy world are things like
that…
Than we stand all up for taking a picture at the little sea-bridge
of Hohwacht and back on the bikes...
The next goal for us was Stöfs…a small hill, kept us pushing the
pedals a little bit more. We turned our heads around to catch
a last view over the bay of Hohwacht, we also be able to see the
Fehmarn-Sund-Bridge! We rode on to Lütjenburg, back to the Bungsberg
passing Lensahn again and the finish was the terace of Hakan…Annette
already made some sandwiches and the beer was already cooled down
in the refridgerator, isn´t she fantastic!?!
We did a short but very intensive chilling and talked about the
plans fot the evening. Meeting in the straw hostel, BBQ getting
out the guitar and of course some beer and party on…I think it
was fantastic…and I believe not only myself…
But sometimes even the most beautiful evening is over…and everyone
had to go to bed…sleeping in the straw is not bad…but only in
the sleeping bag… I would say, we should repeat the tour sometime…
