finally yesterday I was able to forget my first bad roadbike experience. While we had nice weather, Ron and I grabbed a tandem and with some suspicious thoughts of me at the beginning, it went quite good :-D I gotta tell you, it´s uncommon not to got the control over the handle bar, nothing else to see besides the back of the man before you and to be “chained” to a bike. But after we turned back to the headquarters after 30km I was able to relax a little bit, and let Ron do all the work. If I understood it right, we had an average pulse of 133 and an average speed of 29,5km/h. Not bad for the first time… Ron had to ride without his pulse watch, because mine couldn´t choose between him and myself, so he was complete busted, while me, myself and I was still smiling... Having said this, we had lots of fun and I received an aching butt complete free of charge for getting home. See you soon with some new experiences all around cycling…. “the“ Astrid
