Last weekend, the 25th of septmeber was the Bergamont-cross duathlon
in the hill of Hamburg-Harburg ! I participated with Caro in a
mixed-relay-team. I knew that she run in her leisure time and
so I asked her, if she wanted to participate. She doesn´t even
thought about it and said: YES. But she did not know, what´s coming
up on her, so she started up very carefully and slowly the first
round.
She had to run three round, together 7,5km and I got the bike
bike part with two rounds, with 23km, and after my bike part,
she had to run a further round of 3,5km. Caro did a good job,
and ran from round to round faster.
After 46:42minutes Caro finished her first run, than we changed,
I ran quickly thru the transition area and pushed the pedal…
I rode the two rounds as fast as I can, I got an average pulse
of 173 and was really satisfied with my time of 1:15:10.
Now, Caro had to run for the second time, fastly changing the
numbers and off she was…after 18:44minutes I swa her again and
smiled...we did it!!!
Team mate Jost was on the course as well and really fast. He was
a single starter, run – bike and again run…respect.
At the end Jost finished on the 8th place overall and we on the
6th place.
It made lots of fun, it wa a great competition and very well organized,
I´ll particpate here next year for sure….
